I am on Spring Break.
My dream Spring Break would look like this:
A roadtrip to a new place (or to Austin) with Ethan and a few other friends.  We’d stop along the side of the road to take pictures.  We’d stop at little roadside cafes and sip coffee and stay in comfy little bed and breakfasts or hotels.  We’d listen to good music with the windows down.  And I would instagram the crap outta everything.

It would be lovely.

Here’s what my Spring Break looks like in reality:

I’ve worked everyday so far with people who can sometimes test my patience.
I’m right in the middle of hectic, dysfunctional family stuff that should have been resolved YEARS ago.
And I’m taking care of my boyfriend and his friend/roommate because they each have high temperatures and flu-like symptoms.

I have been grumpy.  But I’ve also given thanks for the break from school, despite that I feel stressed.
I’m trying to see the happy or good side of things, and it’s not always easy.

I enjoy my job, and even though my coworkers can annoy me, I’m still fortunate to have a job.
I just sorted out (mostly) the family stuff and it should be taken care of within a few weeks.
The boys aren’t getting better, but I’m glad to make them homemade chicken noodle soup and take them to the doctor and make sure they’re taking their medicine.  It’s the mother coming out of me…even thought I don’t have kids.
I’m also glad to see that they’re resting.  Ethan is asleep right now and Brandon and I are watching Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt. 1 (Which is always awesome).

Here are some inspiring little quotes and works to brighten your day/night and keep you (hopefully) smiling.
